Guide to lens filters
Lens filters have a wide range of different types and purposes. It is important to keep in my mind the filter size of the lens you own as filters come in a range of sizes. Most simply screw onto the front of your lenses, we do also however a few that can drop in to special lense attachments.

Clear lens filters: These are purely to be used to protect your lens. They are great if you would rather not worry about using a lens cap or are in situations where your lens could be damaged by corrosive materials. Think of them as a screen protector for your lens.
CPL filters: These are circular polarization/linear lens filters, they are great for removing some light reflections on water and glass, darken the sky in landscape shots, and enhance the colours in your image.
UV filters: Shooting in harsh or direct sunlight? Uv filters are great to help reduce the amount of ‘blue light’ coming into your camera. They also like clear lens filters that can help protect your lens from scratches or dust.
ND filters: Neutral density or ND filters are designed to reduce in an even manner the amount of light entering your lense. They allow you to keep the aperture of your camera wide open whilst not over exposing your image.
