Cine or cinema lenses are the highest quality of lenses. They are designed for shooting video and providing the best quality image that enters the camera.
The main two differences between cine lenses and other digital camera lenses is the size and price. That is, cine lenses are a lot larger and more expensive than other lense ranges. They are also designed to only fit on what are considered cinema cameras.
Thanks to their large size they are able to fit super high quality glass and often wider apertures. Due to the nature of film shooting they mostly come in only prime lenses.
