Shoot at up to 8K 60p RAW Light video with a range of Cinema EOS level options such as Custom Picture, Canon Log 2, Canon Log 3 and proxy recording. The EOS R5 Mark II provides professional level movie capabilities to for users who require premium quality.
Capture rare and fleeting moments
The EOS R5 Mark II shoots RAW bursts of up to 30 frames per second with 0.5 second pre-continuous shooting, helping you capture the decisive moment in sharp focus even before you’ve pressed the button. Capture scenes from 3 or 5 seconds before recording in video.
RF lenses for greater possibilities
RF lenses enable richly expressive, high-quality imaging. The high-speed communication capabilities of the RF mount makes operation intuitive and stress-free. Co-ordinated control of camera and lens IS via RF mount communication achieves powerful image stabilisation.
Features:
In-camera image upscaling
Upscale JPEG or HEIF images post shooting to approx. 179MP. Combine with in-camera cropping to isolate subjects. More resolution on hand when you need it.
Eye Control AF
Sensors in the electronic viewfinder track the movement of the photographers’ eye which enables the user to quickly change tracking to a different subject.
LP-E6P battery
New high-powered battery extends shooting times and powers many new features which have high processing power requirements.
Fast continuous shooting
Shoot continuous RAW bursts at up to 30 frames per second with AF/AE tracking between each frame.
Canon Log 2 & Canon Log 3
Canon Log 2 & Canon Log 3 are included to ensure a wide dynamic range. Canon Log 2 enables shooting with dynamic range of up to 16 stops.
4K 120p recording
Supports up to Full HD 240P and 4K 120P* recording. This lets users capture scenes with fast movement, such as sports and concerts.
Optional cooling fan
Cooling fan CF-R20EP (sold separately) can be attached to the EOS R5 Mark II to enable longer shooting times when filming in high quality 8K and 4K movie modes.
Neural Network Noise Reduction
Applies deep learning to generate images with reduced noise when processing RAW images in camera, without the need for external computer or software. This can be combined with in-camera image upscaling to produce an image with less noise and higher resolution.
In-body image stabilisation
Co-ordinated Control Image Stabilization is now improved to 8.5 stops at centre and 7.5 stops at peripheral.*¹*²
