The P1000 is easy to use and feels good in the hand, but still produces solid quality images and can handle 4K video recording. The 125x optical zoom gives a 35mm equivalent focal length of 24-3000mm °ÛÒ basically enough to photograph either a wide landscape or the surface of the moon. With such focal lengths possible, it°۪s fortunate the camera is also packed with Nikon°۪s Dual Detect Optical Vibration Reduction, which effectively speeds up your lens by 5 stops. I like the customisable ring at the front, that can be used for a variety of functions such as adjusting focus, exposure, white balance and ISO. This is a good step up for an enthusiast or Nikon P900 owner.
